Open daily from 8 am to 19 pm. Entry: 5 000 RI. Isolated and set in the heart of a splendid setting, the site is classified as a heritage of mankind by UNESCO and was at the time the largest fire religieux religious centre (224-642), high on order of King Ardachir (226-241). Similar to a fortress, these ruins re-establish the rounded summit of a former volcano. See the large gate for coufiques inscriptions. The ensemble, together with a source of hot water of volcanic origin, included - besides the temple of the fire itself - a fortified walled palace punctuated by 38 towers, still partly visible.
