The capital of Lorestan province, Khorram Abbad, is located on the bottom of a steep gorge. It is dominated by the fortress Falak el-Aflak (paradise des paradis), a citadel transformed into a residence of governors until 1830. Today, the building hosts a museum. Some beautiful buildings and the pleasant presence of a lake.
