Benoît Mwanyo is a wood sculptor. Masks, everyday or decorative objects, characters from the world of Tintin that he masters perfectly. Depending on the shape and density of the wood, Benoît intuitively sees the model to create. And as soon as the first axe strokes are made, the model literally comes out of the log. It then remains to refine, round, polish and finally color. His open-air workshop is open to the public, so don't hesitate to visit. He also leads a group of Bakuba dancers.
