Reserve created in 1967 to observe a gigantic trunk, huemuls, pumas and several types of fox.

The fauna of this reserve, created in 1967, is represented by the huemul and the puma, as well as several types of foxes. Near the road is an information centre with a small museum. You will also be able to observe a gigantic trunk, whose growth rings are still clearly visible. It is the remnant of a nearly 400-year-old tree felled in the 1970s. The Simpson River, which gives its name to the reserve, is the one with the largest flow
