In general, the beaches near Concepción are not sandy and are swept by strong winds, resulting in high waves that make them quite dangerous. Nevertheless, some of them do not have these disadvantages and are even equipped with showers. These are Playa Blanca, El Morro and Dichato. You are not the only one to know this and the problem will of course be the crowds in summer. For the agoraphobes, there are intermediate beaches, almost without infrastructure: Playa Llio or Cokura and Chivilingo (sandy beaches).
