Behind the market is the market for local and regional buses. Petoch and Via Itata go to Cobquecura from Monday to Saturday (7 departures per day between 6:30 am and 4:30 pm) and at 7:30 am, 10:45 am, 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm on Sunday. Also for Quirihue, Talca and Santiago with a departure almost every hour. And for the surf spot of Buchupureo, every day at 7h30, 9h, 13h30 and 16h30 (count 2h30 by car). To Las Trancas (Termas de Chillán) and the ski resort, REM buses leave every day from Monday to Friday from 6:50 to 19:20 (about ten departures during the day). Returns at 7:15, 10:00, 10:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 17:30, also at 21:00, but only to Pinto (a village halfway). Note that there are buses every half hour from 7:20 to 21:40 to Los Lleuques, a town quite close to Las Trancas.
