With its old-fashioned style, it is a decent government hotel, nothing more. The main staircase gives a certain character to the establishment. The rooms are classic for India with their rudimentary sanitary facilities and sometimes quite dirty walls. Bar and restaurant on site. The service is quite lax and the dishes on the menu are far from all available. The highlight of this hotel: it is located in the city centre.

Bien situé, cet hôtel est agréable. Installé dans une sorte d'ancien caravanserail, les chambres sont disposées autour d'un magnifique jardin; choisissez donc des chambres au rez de chaussée. Ce qui est regrettable c'est qu'un tel potentiel soit mal géré. Les chambres sont climatisées mais sentent le moisi car elles ne sont pas aérées en dehors de l'occupation par les clients.La carte du restaurant est trop sommaire et le petit déjeuner basique. Heureusement que le prix de l'hôtel est très inintéressant. Ça va pour une ou 2 nuits et visiter Thanjavur car l'hôtel est au centre.
