Charming hotel in the heart of the village, with recently renovated rooms that are spacious, bright and very well appointed

This charming hotel is located in the center of the village and offers easy access to all the sites. The rooms were renovated in 2021 and are spacious, bright and very well appointed. They are spread over four floors around the central swimming pool, under the vigilance of a statue of Parvati. There are two restaurants in the hotel: the Golden Palate, which offers vegetarian Indian specialties, and the Wok to Dhaba, which offers excellent quality Asian cuisine. Quality service. I really enjoyed this hotel. I stayed here last week of 3 nights and it is very safe to stay here. The employees are doing their work friendly and quick. I'm looking to coming back in a few days.

Hôtel bien situé pour les visites à pied des principaux sites mais un peu éloigné de la plage.
La chambre, donnant sur une coursive où s'alignent chaises et fauteuils, est un peu vieillotte mais bien équipée avec une clim qui fonctionne.
Il y a plusieurs restaurants de bonne qualité avec un personnel très accueillant, aimable et toujours souriant même quand on prend ses repas en dehors des heures de service (disons 3h30 pm !). Au rez de chaussé pour les végétariens et l'étage pour les autres... le petit déjeuner buffet est copieux.
Une piscine bien placée et bien entretenue qui permet de s’acclimater en douceur. Une bonne adresse pour commencer son voyage en Inde du Sud.

A charming hotel with a very friendly welcome. For a supplement, you will pick you up by taxi with Mumbaï; The rooms are a bit small but you also benefits from the pool on the terrace. The restaurant is one of the best in Mahabalipuram. Very affordable price. To recommend although you can find better for the same price with Mahabalipuram.
