This extraordinary flower market is really a living spectacle, mixing agitation, colors, smells, it is really worth a visit as soon as it opens, at dawn! Located near the central station, in a superb old building of the historical district of Bangalore, half a millennium old, it is one of the main attractions of the city. Outre le magnifique marché aux fleurs, le City Market (ou KR Market) est également un marché central où l'on peut tout acheter.
A chaque recoin du marché, des "spécialisations" différentes : le bonheur des couturières d'un côté, les étals de fruits et légumes un peu plus loin, les ustensiles de cuisine de l'autre...
On peut à peu près tout trouver, encore faut-il savoir où aller les chercher!
