Bangalore is served by Tiger Airways. Tiger Airways was a Singapore-based low-cost airline based at Singapore Changi Airport. In 2017, the company merged with Scoot, another Singapore airline. Prior to the merger, Tiger Airways offered flights to numerous destinations in Southeast Asia, China and India, including Bangkok, Bali, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Jakarta, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei and Macau. The airline followed a low-cost model, offering a single economy class of service. Tiger Airways did not have its own frequent flyer program, but passengers could earn points with Singapore Airlines' KrisFlyer frequent flyer program, with which Tiger Airways was partnered. Since the merger with Scoot, Scoot's baggage and check-in policies apply. The main airport for Tiger Airways was Singapore Changi Airport.
