The gallery is housed in a beautiful two-storey Art Deco style villa. It takes its name from its opening in 1947 by Venetian owners, making it the oldest recognized art gallery in Morocco. It was once the place of promotion for orientalist painters and one of its most famous representatives, Majorelle. Over the years, this historical gallery has of course diversified in its orientation, but remains attached to Moroccan figurative painting. It stands out in particular for its commitment to promoting new talent and young artists.
