A meeting point for intellectuals and bohemians, students and locals who want to drink alcohol in a relaxed atmosphere, a popular neighbourhood canteen on Fridays, when couscous is served free of charge, all these reasons make this café a place dear to Casaouis. Decorating side, it is dark and the benches are a little faded. La Cigale's success is therefore based on its audience, who are faithful to the event, and on the concerts regularly organised at weekends.
