The very definition of a deserted beach! To reach Petites Cayes beach, follow the Chemin des Froussards from Anse Marcel or Cul-de-sac. It's at least half an hour's hike through one of Saint-Martin's last unspoilt forests. Good walking shoes and a bottle of water are essential. The beach is very popular with surfers, who call it " wilderness "! Please note that the beach is in the heart of the Nature Reserve, so it is forbidden to harvest any flora or fauna.

Accès assez long (35 à 45 mn aller) et parfois un peu difficile: sentier très agréable au début (à partir de la décharge) mais les dernières centaines de mètres sont assez désagréables car on marche dans des galets assez gros. Du coup très peu de monde, c'est le paradis mais ça se mérite. Naturisme possible. Attention, prévoir casquette ou chapeau et de l'eau car rien sur place évidemment et très peu d'ombre. Nombreuses "Têtes à l'Anglais" sur le sentier d'accès.
