Travel Guide Mayo Zadra

Further south, the village of Mayo Zadra. Located on the P1, its track winds through the hills. At a crossroads, below the track, you can make out a wide expanse of water, in the direction of the Northern Province.This is no mirage, but an artificial lake almost bordering Nigeria. Like the village of Mayo Zadra, it does not appear on any map. We descend to it on a stretch of track in very poor condition, which soon gives way to asphalt, just long enough to cross the dam. This is a place out of time and out of the modern world, as if it had escaped the radar of the modern world. You have to see it to believe it...
