Still little known to tourists, this natural site is well worth a visit. Stroll along the impressive rocky gorges, which stretch over some 3 hectares, to the delight of your eyes. These improbably shaped rock formations are as if painted by the palette of a surrealist artist. Bathed in water, they soar skyward and seem to engulf you. It's a landscape like few others, a walk like no other and a site of sheer beauty. All in all, a must-see in the Garoua area.

The term of gorges is a little presumptuous for what resembles rapids more a little deep. Interesting for the rugged stones and games. It is a shame that the site is not as much visitors can not be accessed, especially the elderly. Indeed, the visit to the foot of the gorges in dry season requires physical condition. Without climbing, access is nevertheless acrobatic. The most deplorable rest the cleanliness of the site despite the low crowded because the bottom of the gorge is dotted with plastic bags and remains picnic in any kind. Visit only for business transit between Garoua and Maroua and during the dry season (January to May) because in rainy season the site is fully drowned.

Near the Cola village magnificent sight of these rocky winding gorges is in a wild landscape. It is very beautiful walk to make, almost unavoidable travel.
