Jack London Lake, named after the famous American author, is a natural body of water at a high altitude (803 m). It is hidden in the park of the same name, at the foot of the Anngatchak Mountains (500 km from Magadan). The site is breathtaking, with its Scandinavian fjord air: 14.4 km² of pure water shimmering in the sun, bordered by reliefs lined with larch trees, beaches, islands and where a few icebergs sail until the end of July. Here you take a 59 km hiking route from the village of Iagodnoïe. You cross the Bolshoi Anngatchak Ridge, pass the Aboriginal Peak, see ponds and majestic waterfalls.
