The road leads to the Ust-Oulagan (60 km), up to the famous Pazyryk burials, discovered in 1840. The Scythian artefacts in the Hermitage Hall in St. Petersburg come from there. The village of Aktach is home to one of the most beautiful wonders of the Altai: the thermal lake of Geyser (oзеро гейзер), sparkling turquoise blue, lost in the taiga. Its navy blue background changes shape according to the sources that feed it. This natural site is quite busy.
