ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM

Founded in 1968, the Museum of Siberian and Far Eastern Peoples exhibits the collection of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences, one of the most interesting academies in Siberia. These tens of thousands of objects (from the Palaeolithic to the medieval period) were discovered and studied during the great field investigations of the laboratories. The museum organizes guided tours and thematic exhibitions.
