THÉÂTRE D’OPÉRA ET DE BALLET

The largest theatre in Russia, nicknamed the Colosseum, recognizable by its dome. It is also the most beautiful example of the Stalinist style. Since its inauguration in 1945, the institution has been recognized worldwide. Classical opera and ballet works (Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Seville Barber, etc.). Renovated in 2005 (it retains its character), the Opera has higher technical equipment than the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
