The Permian, located between 250 and 300 million years B.C., represents the last period of the Paleozoic era. The Perm Region was named after the research of the British geologist R. Murchison. In 1841 Murchison classified many fossils from this period. Today the museum takes us back in time to the discovery of the living beings of that period found on these lands.
