MUSEUM OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN

Pictures, models and machines devoted to the industrial history of the Urals. The open-air part of the museum includes the machines of the first factories in the region and a monument dedicated to Emperor Peter the Great, built in the 19th century and erected at that time on the dam. This building (a former factory) and those surrounding it, together with the surprising wooden houses nearby, are the oldest buildings in Ekaterinburg.
