FK OURAL

The FK Ural is the only technically Asian club to be permanently represented in the First Russian League, but it is one of the best clubs in the country: since its promotion to the 2013/2014 season, it has oscillated between the 8 th ^{and 13 th place of ranking. As usual, the club is first associated with an industry, the construction of mechanical machinery (Ouralskiï zavod tiazhelovo machinostroeniya). Created in 1930 as Ouralmachstroya, abbreviation of the name of the company, his name was Avangard from 1937 to 1957, then Ouralmach until 2002, where he is shortened in FK Ural. The geographical element, which is very important in the identity of the inhabitants of Ekaterinburg (don't tell you that they are Siberian!), therefore takes precedence over the industrial element, making the club proud representative of a often neglected Russian area.}
