It is the highest place in the Great Wall, above 800 m above sea level. A portion of the walls many times renovated, to such a point that it would sometimes be thought to be built again! The last retouching dates back to 1957. A cable car, built in 1990, makes it possible to reach the summit. To take advantage of the visit at length, it is advisable to organize its visit independently. If this stretch of wall is closest to Beijing, it is certainly not the most interesting. Too many tourists in a framework too nine and lack authenticity!
