NORTH ELEUTHERA SAILING REGATTA

This is one of the major sailing events in the Bahamas. The waters off North Eleuthera, Harbour Island and Spanish Wells are overrun by sloops, which are rigged rigs for deck and keel sailing boats (as opposed to dinghy sailing). Four days of celebrations and championships, which sailing enthusiasts should not miss. There are festivals, cultural events, and drinks and barbecue stands. In the evenings there are local music concerts.
