DAR AL HERFYA

Dar Al Herfya is a half gallery, half boutique, and will open its doors in 2014 with the aim of promoting and developing Omani craftsmanship. The objects, coming from the different regions of the Sultanate, are purchased from local manufacturers and artists and then exhibited on site by theme. For example, there are woven baskets made of palm leaves from Dhofar, key rings woven by Bedouin women from the Sharqiyah, leather products made in Mirbat or Nizwa, and so on. Hundreds of Omani families are already involved in the project.
