Museum in a typical Galician pazo, in the heart of the Castrelos Park in Vigo

In the heart of the Castrelos Park, the city museum is housed in a typical Galician pazo, the stately home of Quiñones de León. Art and archaeology collections and an exhibition on the history of Vigo. Stone tools, ceramics and monolithic sarcophagi from the Paleolithic period to the present day are on display. The Pinacoteca contains one of the most important collections of 20th century Galician paintings.
