Oyambre Cape is located in the middle of the vast sandy expanses of Merón and Oyambre. It is one of the entrances to the natural park, protected since 1988. The beach is bordered by dunes, supported by thick vegetation. From the cliffs of Oyambre you can contemplate the endless beach. At low tide, you can walk along it between the large puddles left by the sea to the marshes at the Escudo estuary. A narrow road allows you to follow the coast by car and cross the Rabia River. At the beginning of the 20th century, Oyambre was frequented by high society and Alfonso XIII used to come here to play golf. Nowadays people go there for hiking or surfing.
