A funicular that offers a splendid view of Santander and all its monuments. Inaugurated in 2008, it was built to help the inhabitants to climb the steep slope of Río de Pila street to the General Dávila promenade. The funicular runs a total of 78 metres with four stops: Río de la Pila, San Sebastián Street, Prado San Roque and El Regimiento football ground. Bicycle transport is allowed, but limited by markings.
