THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL ROUTE OF THE BENAVENTE VALLEYS

We recommend this route, located to the northwest of the town of Benavente, for the attractiveness of its landscapes and the interest of its archaeological heritage: Celtic huts, dolmens, such as those of San Adrián and Las Peñezuelas, in Granucillo, one of the most interesting groups in the region, Roman settlements such as that of Petavonium... A visit to the Interpretation Centre of this route in Santibáñez de Vidriales is a good way to complete or start the tour.
