MERCADO DE VERÓNICAS

In this beautiful modernist market designed in 1910 by Pedro Cerdán, you will find a wide variety of stalls: butcher shops, fishmongers, greengrocers... distributed over two floors. There are also several tapas bars integrated into the market. The big market day is Thursday. There is also a "gastronomy" area that organizes cooking classes almost every day. Next to the market, on the right-hand side, you will find a remnant of the city wall and an almost complete tower, the only one of the old wall that has been preserved.
