Cathedral with a remarkable Baroque façade, with an interior where the Gothic style dominates the Renaissance decoration
This beautiful fourteenth-century building, with Renaissance elements, has a remarkable Baroque façade. Inside, the Gothic style dominates with the rich Renaissance decoration of the Capilla de los Junterones from the 16th century. We will visit the sacristy for its two beautiful plateresque doors, its dome with rich woodwork, as well as the tower of the cathedral. And climbing the tower gives access to a beautiful panoramic view of the city. Located in the old cloister, its museum presents amazing sculptures by Francisco Salzillo.

Spectacular by night
Yes it is beautifully lightenend so its barocco facade brighten in the night. It is a mix of barocco rococò and gothic but inside the new gothic prevail with the altar and the ceilings.
Very pretty building that is worth a stop. Murcia is a beautiful city. Beware, it sometimes hot.
