PROVINCIAL MUSEUM OF CIUDAD REAL

It houses two sections, paleontology and archaeology. The first one gathers fossil remains coming from the region, the second one the results of the excavations carried out in the region, from the lower paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The whole is very didactic because it is accompanied by many scenographies aiming at making understand the evolutions and the environment. During the visit: the skeleton of a mammoth, pieces from the Bronze Age, or mosaics from a Roman villa.
