Hametoulo is a small picturesque village, built entirely of stone, almost uninhabited, situated in a beautiful valley overflowing with greenhouses, olive groves and fruit trees and halfway between Xerokampos and Ziros. Due to its location, it is nowadays very popular with European investors: some houses are already renovated and used as second homes. However, the small chapel, dedicated to St. George, with its wooden altar, the old spring that once supplied the whole village with water, as well as a few houses that are being rebuilt, give reason to believe that the village can once again rise from its ruins.
