Museum dedicated to the handicrafts of the 19th and early 20th century in Sitia.
Founded in 1974, the Folk Art Museum of Sitia is housed in a beautiful neoclassical house in the city. All the objects, dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries, are made by local craftsmen. Among the items on display are icons, tools and furniture, embroidery, fabrics, clothing and more personal items.
