Among the choice of restaurants on Sitia's waterfront is Tzivaeri, a family-run business, from ingredients to service. Most of the vegetables, meats and fish that grace your plate are produced by members of the Psarakis family. The bread is organic, as is the olive oil and wine. Fresh fish every day. We recommend the mixed fish platter for just €23 for 2. On Fridays and Sundays, spit-roasted meats are served in large numbers to the locals who prefer this address.

Close to the port, in this tavern whose owner is a fisherman, you can have fresh fish but also other traditional dishes at any time. If you prefer simmered dishes, opt for giouvetsi, (meat cooked slowly in the oven with Greek pasta that looks like rice) or the delicious stuffed vine leaves . White wine, from the monastery of Toplou and served chilled, is recommended. Every evening, the speciality offered is the mechoui: melting! Friendly and efficient service. Very good value for money.

Greek-Cretan cuisine restaurant and pizzeria on the port located between Hotel Elysée and Hotel Flisvos near the water to admire the small fishing boats. Pleasant, clean and shaded terrace overlooking a small flowerbed and the small port. Nevertheless, the cuisine here is traditional: rabbit has been a speciality of the owner for twenty years. There are 5 to 6 dishes of the day in summer, including some fish dishes, snails... Fresh home-made tiramisu is systematically offered all year round. Warm welcome.
