On the road from Agios Nikolaos to Sitia, this village is an excellent starting point for hikes in the beautiful surrounding mountains. At the exit of the village, in the direction of Sitia, a circuit is proposed which passes by a very old olive tree, a farm of the Minoan period and a gorge. Caution: important difference in altitude.
