A modern fish and mezze restaurant inspired by Greek culinary traditions.

In addition to the superb location, this is a real restaurant for gourmets looking for explosions of flavors for the palate. Local specialties are served, although revisited and lightened, but the tradition is respected and the taste is enhanced. Opt for the grilled octopus, the risotto with kakavia sauce or the fish of the day among others... The sommelier proposes food and wine pairings as well as excellent beverages from small producers with local grapes. The reception is very attentive and the waiters will give you good advice.

GIOMA MEZE is a modern restaurant that offers a beautiful culinary experience inspired by Greek traditions. The restaurant serves local specialties reimagined without sacrificing tradition or taste. The menu includes grilled squid with aromatic wild herbs, grilled octopus with chickpea puree, cherry tomatoes and grape juice, risotto with kakavia sauce and grilled pancetta with fresh fries. Desserts are equally good and the sommelier offers an excellent selection of drinks from small producers with local grapes.

We had an amazing lunch at Gioma Meze. The grilled fish was excellent and super tasty. The salad was super fresh. The view was lovely. The service very good too. Overall we had a really nice time.

Quite simply the best meal of our holiday. Boasting one of the best views in Agios Nikolaos! We took a chance walking up to the restaurant they were clearly very busy but managed to find us a table. I would say in the height of season booking ahead is a must. The food was absolutely delicious and I wanted to savour every mouthful. I can highly recommend the tuna and the lamb with a traditional lemon dressing. I’ve since googled and will be trying this at home. The prices (for what is was) were very reasonable. The service was good and the atmosphere great!!
