You'll find plenty of important local information at the Info Point next to the harbor master's office, near the rock-encrusted church of Agios Georgios Sarantaris. This modern Info Point dates from 2016, as does the discreet Heraklion Info Point. In both places, you can discover the region through various games on giant interactive touch screens.

Hersonissos est une station balnéaire "traditionnelle" donc sans intérêt particulier, à part la fontaine romaine en mosaïque en pleine rue commerçante...mais son emplacement central sur l’Île est le point idéal pour sillonner alentour
