Museum of Christian art in a former cathedral of the 15th century in Heraklion.

The Museum of Christian Art "St. Catherine of Sinai" is housed in the church of the same name. The central theme is religious art in Crete from the 14th to the 19th century. This former 15th century cathedral houses a permanent exhibition of beautiful icons from several Cretan places of worship and examples of murals, carved wood, manuscripts and other artwork. A must visit for those interested in the art of icons and exciting for all.
