Family-run hotel with modern rooms among the cheapest in downtown Heraklion.

One of the cheapest addresses downtown. Small family hotel with about 20 rooms renovated in 2015 rather in the modern style, unpretentious but well kept by warm owners. Located not far from the seafront, in a small street away from the noise (a luxury in this city) a stone's throw from Handakos street with restaurants, bars, shops... The hotel itself rents cars under the name of Ritz Rent a Car for competitive rates and rather reliable service. Air conditioning, luggage storage and free wi-fi.

Open from March 1st to November 30th. Double room with bathroom in the corridor from €35 in season, with private bathroom from €45 in season. Triple rooms and family also available. Breakfast in option.

Small rooms. Just a place to stay, nothing more. But we were treated so polite and the breakfast (which is 4 €) was surprisingly sumptuous.

Worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. This woman of the hotel was cruel and inhospitable. I emailed her I was coming after 1 AM, because that’s what time the flight arrived. She got back to me late by email. Had she gotten back to me early, everything would have been resolved.

She was asleep and disorganized when she came out. She refused to check me in. Then threatened to call the police on me. A horrible experience for your first encounter into Greece. God will show Sodom and Gomorrah more mercy than He shows this hotel owner.
