This marine cemetery is appreciated for the fullness it provides. If you are lucky enough to be there in the spring, you can enjoy the light of the daisies on the small hills dotted with hundreds of white graves that blend into the blue of the sea. The fishermen put their nets in colorful boats, paths are marked out near the graves and children swim on old ruins, a moving fusion of life and death. Every Thursday, it is traditional for the Mahdois to go to the cemetery to visit their dead.

MAGNIFIQUE
Mahdia est une ville historique aux nombreux charmes.
Elle plaira aux historiens pour son riche passé.
La ville tire sa renommée de son fort et de ses surprenants cimetières marins.
Plus intéressante que les grandes villes touristiques situées plus au Nord, Mahdia saura vous charmer et vous toucher.
Excellente vue depuis le fort sur le cimetière marin.
