DAR ESSID MUSEUM

The Dar Essid Museum is a museum to discover "the traditional Tunisian house". Former home of a notable, it is now open to the public. After the entrance door, you arrive in a hallway overlooking a patio beautifully decorated with mosaics and opening on three rooms that look like suites. Each room was made up like an apartment and could accommodate up to a family. Another simpler house was intended for the servants. To discover Sousse from above, take the small spiral staircase.
