MÉTRO DU SAHEL

Managed by the Tunisian Railway Company, the Sahel Metro runs on the Sousse-Monastir-Mahdia line. It is very frequent (about every half hour, count on an hour and a half for the whole trip) and passes through a whole host of stations, some of which are located in the tourist area of Madhia, and in that of Monastir, where most hotels are located. The Sahel Metro is very busy, crowded at peak hours. Using it is also a good way to get to know the daily life of Tunisians.
