When to go à HAMMAMET ?

The climate is Mediterranean in the north and along the coast, semi-arid in the interior and south. On average, temperatures are 12°C in winter and 30°C in summer. But we regularly find extreme temperatures depending on the region: winter snowfalls in Kroumirie (Aïn Draham) and nearly 50 °C in summer in the continental south. The high tourist season corresponds to summer on the coast while it coincides with autumn and winter in the Great South.

When to go to Tunisia? In Hammamet, as in the other seaside resorts of Tunisia, the high tourist season is concentrated in the months of July-August, the hottest period with an average of 30°C by the sea and where the water temperature is particularly pleasant (27°C). This is where you will find the highest hotel rates. The low tourist season runs from November to March or April. In low season, you will have hotel rates and stays at discounted rates. This is not always the case during the middle season. If the city of Hammamet remains alive all year round, the seaside hotel complexes close in low season and the sites are deserted.
