FORT GENOIS

Built on a hill, the Genoese fort dominates the city of Tabarka: look up and you won't be able to miss it. Built by the Lomellini, it is imposing from the outside (only). Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it testifies to the presence of the Italians in Tabarka. The building preserves the memory of the "Tabarquins". It can be reached on foot or by car. The view on the city of Tabarka is superb. Note that only the outside can be visited, but the lucky ones who will coax the guard of the place will perhaps manage to penetrate there.
