HOTEL PASATIEMPO

I stayed at this little hotel boutique during my recent visit to Costa rica Tamarindo! The staff are excellent. it is right in the heart of the town however, with all the gardens and the way to set up, you would never know it however, you might know it at night because some of the sounds of the music come through however that’s not a deterrent, it adds to the beauty.
Breakfast was probably the best I had in my entire visit throughout the country. Duego was excellent!
My room was spotless and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The hot water in the shower wasn’t that hot? I ran the shower with just the hot water tap turned on again not a big concern as it’s super hot in Tamarindo.
The pool area and the gardens and the restaurant are all so lovely to be in.
I would not hesitate to stay here again .

I gave it a four out of five and not a four star international rating. We have to remember when we travel ratings are gonna be different throughout each country.

Minutes from the beach from the food truck minutes from a yoga studio coffee shops you can’t get a better location if you want to be in town

Please do not stay in this hotel. The website does not show the reality of the rooms. Very sketchy website. Staff was good but not willing to cancel our reservation as we were shocked to see the rooms. You are better off staying at a hostel.

Wonderful hotel for the price point. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated, but clean. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. Location is perfect, as you're just far enough away from the crowds, but still walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Les chambres familiales sont grandes, simple et très propre .
Je recommande

Lo positivo: habitación amplia y limpia, con mimo bar y cafetera. La ubicación está bien en el centro de Tamarindo a pasos de la playa.

Lo negativo: todas las habitaciones dan a la piscina por lo que pueden resultar ruidosas, especialmente si hay noche de Jazz ya que el bar está también allí.
El desayuno es muy malo y no lo pagaría. Desayunaría en cualquier otro sitio cercano.
