The largest private reserve in Costa Rica, with several resorts where tourists can stay in Santa Elena

The "eternal forest of children" is considered the largest private reserve in the country. It has 4 resorts, 2 of which offer lodging: San Gerardo, in a room or dormitory, no hot water or wifi, but to keep you busy, 7 kms of trails to walk; and Pocosol, more comfortable, 10 kms of trails near San Isidro, with electricity, hot water, internet, and a magical view of the Peñas Blancas valley.
