COONATRAMAR FERRY

The ferry transports pedestrians and vehicles. If you are transported, buy your ticket before boarding, otherwise you won't be left up. Arrive at least one hour in advance on weekends and during high season. It is important to note that the route between Playa Naranjo and Paquera is not in very good condition, without 4 x 4 that is obvious. So it is better sometimes to wait for the ferry from Paquera if you want to descend south. The ferry to Playa Naranjo is recommended to reach Nicoya.
