Curiously, this lodge has not closed its doors due to the agitation of the volcano. Opinions are mixed on this accommodation, but it remains the only one to have the volcano in its garden! However, we must not expect great luxury, but rather an altitude shelter (we are here at 2 800 m). The rustic rooms are heated to the wood stove. There is a stable and a dairy. You can eat in the restaurant (expensive and very medium), because the hotel is far from everything. Beware, the air is cold!

- Very well located at the foot of Turrialba volcano.
Negative points:
- Chemin d' access reserved exclusively for 4x4 vehicles
- Very small without any comfort barely corresponding to 1 star.
- Restaurant without menu, very varied and expensive.
- Manager not very friendly.
Not passage almost required to the national park Turrialba, this is more of a refuge that a real hotel.
