SÃO LÁZARO DISTRICT AND SÃO MIGUEL CEMETERY

From the entrance of the Catholic cemetery on Rua do São Miguel, you can walk to Saint Lazare church, crossing the same name. The small cobbled streets are punctuated by ancient Chinese houses of the th century. This is the only example of a neighbourhood still preserved in Macau. Contemporary art exhibitions are often held in the Aspoprodecaz SCM gallery, in a pretty courtyard sheltered from a huge banian.
